...why 42? ...'cause that's the page number I am on in my current sketchbook! (Also, I didn't want to start at #1 and feel weird 'cause I'm kind of ocd like that.)
I don't do landscapes. I wish I did. So I tried today.
I'm not sure what it is, but I have this problem of really wanting to make art but when it actually comes down to it, I become so disinterested...you can definitely see the disinterest in this sketch, but, hey - at least I went out of my comfort zone in terms of subject matter (& I took my bike down to the beach for this so rekindling my love of biking was well worth the shitty sketch).
I really could use work on perspective (is this the artist's old adage?). But, like I said - total disinterest while making the lines...perhaps I ought to take some paints with me tomorrow/next time.
